Health Campus Turku Job Shadowing Day (TET Day)
Health Campus Turku job shadowing day strengthens collaboration between education and working life
Health Campus Turku regularly organizes job shadowing days (TET Days), which offer participants the opportunity to explore the activities of network organizations and strengthen cooperation between education and working life. During the day, participants can observe experts at work, share knowledge, and build new forms of collaboration.
What Is a TET Day?
• An opportunity to get to know the everyday work of another organization with a low threshold
• A chance to learn, network, and discover new collaboration opportunities
• Promotes regional expertise and the development of the wellbeing services county
The TET Day is open to all employees within the Health Campus Turku network.
Health Campus Turku Organizations
The Health Campus Turku network includes:
• Wellbeing Services County of Southwest Finland (Varha)
• University of Turku
• Åbo Akademi University
• Turku University of Applied Sciences
• Novia University of Applied Sciences
• Business Turku
Together, these organizations form a multidisciplinary competence cluster that advances research, development, education, innovation, and regional vitality.
Organizing TET Days in Organizations
Varha has its own regularly organized TET Day. The next Varha TET Day will take place in autumn 2026, with the exact date announced later.
TET Days in other Health Campus Turku organizations are arranged bilaterally between the organizations and participants. This allows flexible participation and ensures that each job shadowing day can be tailored to the needs and schedules of each unit.
Collaboration Across Organizational Boundaries
The TET Day increases understanding of how different organizations operate and strengthens joint development. The day often leads to new initiatives in education, research, and working-life collaboration.
